Global warming? Snow falling in Malibu, California today. (pic)

Well, today is quite a special day here in Southern California. We have had a bit of a cold spell (for California) this week – it was 31 degrees at 9:30pm last night.

And today in Malibu, the weather decided to grace us with some snow, as pictured here. Actually, quite a lot of snow. This is quite a rare occurrence and trumps any unusual weather in the rest of the country is experiencing right now.

It has been well over 20 years since this level of snow has been in Malibu.

What does this say about global warning? Will Malibu be the next big ski resort?
