RAZR V3 - Save Your Voice Notes as MP3 Files

If you have a Motorola RAZR V3 or similar device you might have the desire to take and save voice notes from your cellular phone. And if you have been able to connect via P2K Commander, then you may want to store those voice notes as MP3 files and then transfer them to your personal computer.

With that in mind, here is a basic how-to guide on how to save voice notes on your Motorola RAZR V3 phone as MP3 files for future usage.

Here is the step-by-step:
1. Go to Message Center --> New Message --> New Multimedia Message
2. Press the Menu key then choose Insert
3. Choose voice record to select that option
4. Press and hold the voice key while recording whatever you say for up to approximately 20 seconds.
5. When you have finished recording a blank screen will pop up like your about to send a text message, press 'ok', but do not type anything to the SMS text message.
6. Send it to yourself, someone else or a number of your choosing.
7. Go to your outbox and open the message you just sent, the voice record will play, press the menu button and choose store.
8. Choose file, press store, store only, give it a file name and you are done, the file has now been saved as an MP3 file.

Did this solution work for you? If so, please let me know with a comment.
