The Ultimate Hidden Mickey Guide - Disneyland, California

As mentioned in my “Ultimate Hidden Mickey Guide” post, the secret of the Hidden Mickeys is an important part of our family’s obsession with Disneyland. In this post, I’ll show all the areas we know of or have found a Hidden Mickey at Disneyland in the Walt Disney Resorts in Anaheim, California.

As a reference, we've consistently used Steven M. Barrett's book, Disneyland's Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Disneyland Resort's Best Kept Secrets. It'll provide you a great start to finding the Hidden Mickeys and hours of fun. You can buy it at the park, or if you want to go prepared, click here to purchase from Amazon.

We’re sure there are others that we missed. Let me know with a comment below.

I know there's a hidden mickey on the Indiana Jones ride. VERY hard to catch. It's hard to remember where it is exactly. I know that it's once you get passed the bridge of fire thing there's one of the those dark caves. It's the dark cave with the skeletons in the walls. One of the skeletons is wearing a Golden Mickey hat.

On the new Space Mountain. The hidden mickey is actually on the ride. The little ship you sit in? It's on that ship somewhere but I'm not saying. =D

Climb up to the top of Tom Sawyer's treehouse and look out of the open wall. There is a little house nearby. A hidden Mickey head is on top of the chimney!

There is another hidden mickey in the haunted mansion, when you go in the room before you get on the elevator, there are candles on the walls. If you look under one of the candles you'll see a hidden mickey formed by the three little thing holding the candles. It's fairly easy to recognize.

When you go inside Indiana jones there are four hidden mickeys that I have found and a lot more that I havnt seen. The first one is in the dark film room. There is a little dark drawing of eeoyre on the left wall, if you ask a cast member (someone is always there) they'll show you. The second one is in the same room but on the right wall. There is a huge mickey on the wall that is made of different shadows. Again if you ask a cast member they'll shine a flashlight over it and show you. The third one I found is in the room that has a desk and stuff and supposedly is Indie's office. If you look closely there is a magazine on the desk and it is opened to a page that has a picture of mickey (costume version) and minnie on it. The fourth one I found was in the ride when you first enter and you're going face to face with the big mara on the wall. If you look at the nose, you'll see that the two nostrils form the ears and the gap above the lips form the head. There are tons of other hidden mickeys on that ride.
