Wow, that fixed it! Usually the fix for glitches is not that easy! Thank you for posting this, that stupid ugly pink was extremely annoying.

Fixed my problem too. Only downside is that the video card now steals more memory from RAM, the reason I had set it to a lower color setting in the first place because my old Dell music server Inspiron is short on RAM - fully loaded at 512MB.<BR/><BR/>Oh well, life is full of tradeoffs....
